Just Relax

I finally feel like maybe I am getting the hang of this - sort of.  Conrad is easier somehow now.  It helps a lot that he mostly sleeps really well, he does still need to eat once at night but at least it is only once and an occasional second waking for a pacifier fix.  He has become far more routine which helps too.

So what's new?  Well not a lot and everything all at once.  Conrad changes all of the time.  I can't even remember what I last wrote about for sure, but I am sure there is some new sound or action.  He is really exploring his mouth more and making sounds, moving his lips around to make different sounds and feeling his tongue.  He is very interested in Kris and my tongue and teeth.

Conrad is 7 months old now and he still loves to jump all of the time, even in my arms when he can.  He always seems to kick his right sock off and drools constantly thus the perma bib.  No teeth have broken through and he hates Kris and I looking in his mouth but we keep checking for them.

A couple of weeks ago, yes in March, we had a pretty decent snow here.  A good 4 or more inches actually stuck and you could see remnants of the snow a week later where it had really been built up or a snowman had been constructed.  It was a weird thing to see in early spring but we had another chance to get out in it briefly with Conrad.

Conrad wasn't so sure about being bundled up in the jacket and hat so was not very smiley

We did love Kris' old jean jacket from when he was a boy - even if still a little big.

Just a little tickle and the smiles came out and the jumping in my arms began.  He is a happy boy.

Conrad also now enjoys taking a bath.  He was okay with the first one or two he received, then hated them and balled the entire time, then loved them and would battle with the water splashing like a crazy boy now he is, well, more relaxed, like it is his own private hot tub.

I'm sure he'll be happy I posted this one day, I tried to have it covered.

Yes he just lays back in the little duck tub and puts his feet up on the other side.  If only mommy weren't there with a camera maybe he could really relax and work out all of the stress.

This is his duck tub.  It goes inside your regular tub to make it smaller so he doesn't fall over and get lost in the big sea.  Thanks Grandma and Papa for the tub even if it is a duck; and mommy didn't want any more stuff when you brought it home for us.
