So I had my appointment an hour ago or so. I have dilated to 2cm, so not much change, thinned a little more, he is still head right down there which explains the achiness that I am so enjoying. His heart rate has slowed down which is normal right before birth I guess. It actually scared me because at first she kind of couldn't find his heart beat and it was mimicking mine, she had to take my pulse while counting his so she could tell which was whose, but then it picked up a bit when he moved, woke him up I guess.
All in all the appointment was just what it should be and all good news, I guess I was just hoping that I would be a little more dilated and that somehow she would say something like "haven't you even noticed your in labor?'' I do think I have had a couple of contractions today that may still be false but have had the "pain" aspect to them, they were sort of twinges of pain more than anything that was all across the belly, but certainly nothing that is rhythmic or getting stronger.
So it is back to waiting, just waiting. At least my time at work right now is the busiest time so that helps distract me. I have been thinking end of this week, so we are still on track and that could be true. I guess you will all have to keep waiting too.
