Okay so I thought I would work on this over the weekend but I didn't.  I cleaned up around the house and yard, did laundry, and worked on the baby name letters I am painting. Saturday evening we went up to our friends for a nice BBQ on the patio.  It is sort of strange to think about going to college with these girls and now we are all married with homes and children.  It was family time for sure, I can't wait for ours to join the troops. Sunday Kris and I drove down to Eugene.  No real reason other than to get out of the house.  We went and checked out the new Cabela's store.  It wasn't as spectacular as the one in Lacy and we didn't buy anything, but we came and we saw.  Then we went to a nice park down there, Alton Baker Park, and walked around the walking trails a little, looked at the ducks and geese, and enjoyed the sunny afternoon.  It was good to get out, but I must say I was tired after all of the walking and feel asleep on the couch for a little while when we got home.

As promised here are some room updates.  Kris had gotten all of the wainscoting up before last weekend and my parents had come down and painted it all for us.  We moved the furniture in and got things mostly set up.  There are a few things still just set in there like a stroller and the pak n' play but those will get settled somewhere else before the baby needs the room.  Here are pictures of all of the painting and furniture.  The final pieces are the bedding and window valance from Kris' mom and any decor for the walls.

This picture makes the dresser look dirty, yikes! It needs another coat of finish to look smoother.

The furniture is off white and the wainscoting is white.  It is all rather light in there, but we have a rug down that is dark browns and blues, once the bedding is in with its brown stripes and polka dots, and things get put up on the walls I think it will darken it all a bit, it is very light right now.

I am still feeling mostly really good, but my back was hurting a bit this weekend and I am just getting to be more uncomfortable in general.  I can't believe I will supposedly get bigger than I am now, how is that possible?
