18 Weeks and Hungry

I seem to be pretty hungry this week, I can't seem to get full.  I have been trying to eat lighter things like fruit, not heavy carbs or big meals all the time, so maybe it just isn't enough but I think this little hermit is growing too.  Not that it shows too much.  I still am not all that big, but that is fine with me as long as the baby is healthy.

I am anxious for warmer weather to get here so that I can wear some of my short sleeve tops without always having to have a sweater or something, I am running out of very many of those options and don't want to buy maternity stuff like that since the bulk of the time when I will be bigger will be in the summer.  I am already starting to feel like I have nothing to ware and there will be a lot of repeats in my wardrobe.  Oh, well I'm trying not to break the bank on maternity clothing.

This past weekend I went to my friend and our student workers wedding.  It was really nice and came together great.  In particular the grooms brothers gave him a very good toast, I guess the older brother had to rival the toast he received at his wedding (check it out on you tube titled "The Greatest Best man Speech Alive")  I am sure they will post this toast as well and can't wait to watch it again and catch all that I had missed.  Kris went to a fishing tournament with his club at Green Peter, the fishing was no good, he didn't make a catch at all (well not a bass anyway).  I blame the supermoon we had on Saturday.  I am also making some progress on the baby name letters I am making for our friend who had a baby last month.  I am basically down to finishing touches but it is an intricate pattern and takes a steady hand, so little by little I will get there.

I really can't wait to find out just what we are having so I can start planning the nursery room.  Hopefully Kris' mom will be willing to make the crib skirt, a valance, and maybe a diaper bag holder thing.  I still haven't asked her, the first she has heard of this request is probably reading this :)  Being the master sewer she is I know she is capable, just don't know if she has the time, or if she can put up with my indecision on fabric.  Once I know the sex I can see what is out there and what catches my eye.  Only a couple more weeks, but it seems like forever.

Still haven't felt any definite consistent movement from the bugger either.  Any time, I can't wait for that either.
