Storms at the Coast

I went away last night with a couple of girlfriends to the coast. I was so nice to have a house we could go to (thanks Kara!) and just get away for a night.  This is probably the last time I will get away like that at all but certainly with the girls before the baby comes.  Not just because I will have a baby but also because they are all having babies soon.  Yes, ALL of us were/are pregnant. It was pretty stormy last night there.  Fortunately the rain held off until we were done shopping at the outlets, but then the wind came in and the pouring rain began.  We had a nice night just visiting and relaxing.  I bought our first baby outfit.  I just couldn't resist so I got something that is pretty neutral and I think supper cute. It is a little onesie outfit with a hooded sweatshirt and little pants that is mostly white but has some grey stars and a lime green giraffe on it, I say it is slightly more boyish because of the grey Kris said he thought it was girlish because of the stars.

Tomorrow is valentines day.  Kris and I don't have any plans, I am just as bad and haven't gotten something or thought about to plan anything.  Oh well we have time now to spend together alone maybe next year we will need to make more of an effort to have a night for just the two of us.

I have jury duty this week... yep I got called for the first time ever.  Hopefully it will be canceled or there won't be a trial or something.  I think I am going to have a busy week at work and I need to fit in a haircut too.

Now that I am home I really need to do the laundry, clean up the kitchen, make the bed, and think about making something up for lunches this week.  Guess I better get to work.
